Is that 26 annual payments of nothing or can I get that in a lump sum of zero?

Who is Johnny Mathis or Reba McEntire? :)
jarrett From: jarrett Date: October 22nd, 2002 04:50 pm (UTC) (Link)
Sorry, no. Reba did cover it, but it was orginially written and recorded by Boz Scaggs.

That's another good guess, but hers is also a cover.

That's awesome!
I sooo want a piano and to learn how to play.
Did you learn to play as a kid or was it something you picked up later?
jarrett From: jarrett Date: October 22nd, 2002 05:14 pm (UTC) (Link)
I probably started really playing when I was about ten or twelve.

I am self-taught.

Most music I know I just learned by ear, but I can also read sheet music (slowly).

Any recommendations on what a newbie pianist wannabe should buy? and how to tackle learning? I've noticed some used pianos in the paper for around $1000.

I'm not an expert or anything, but if you can get a real piano in your home, that's probably the best way to go.

Otherwise be sure to get an 88-key keyboard with fully weighted keys. They start at around $500 or $600 new. A decent one might be about a grand.

As far as learning is concerned, it probably doesn't hurt to find an instructor.

BRAVO Jarrett!

Ok so the artist has been named.
Is the title "Cast your spirit to the wind"?
I miss hearing you play Jarrett.
Again, BRAVO! That piece was beautiful.
