Today is August 1st, and I weigh 207 lbs.

I'm going to lose some weight. I'm going to start right now.

I think it would be nice to weigh 170 instead. That means I need to lose 37 lbs.

I could probably do it by the end of the year. That's about 7.4 lbs a month. That should be easy.

Step 1: No more soda... lots and lots more water.

This guy is pretty amazing. Theres some great forums with cool people in the same boat. I like it cause its pretty non commercial.

Weight Loss

I felt compelled to post given that so much of your family, myself included, has had success with WeightWatchers. Utimately you should choose whatever diet/exercise plan works for you, but WeightWatchers worked for both of your parents and Tom and I have each lost over 20 pounds in the last 2 1/2 months. Your dad attends the meetings, Tom and I just subscribe to the online version to track our meals and weight. Good luck and don't be frustrated by any set-backs you may encounter.
