Boy, I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I blame World of Warcraft. Best. Game. Ever.

I've been busy, but there hasn't been a lot of news to report. I put up a Christmas tree for the first time since I lived in Stockton. Julie and Danielle helped with that project (thanks, ladies). Other than that, work has been keeping me busy, the arcade project has made some wonderful advancements (pics to come soon), and my Paladin has reached level 17.

Today, though, I woke up with a raging headache, so I'm going to stay home sick. I imagine I'll be at my computer working most of the day, but at least I'll be suffering in peace.

Current Mood: cranky cranky

Don't play WoW!

I get off at 5 and I will be able to play tonight, we're only two levels apart now, we can kick ass.

Oh man, I was gonna ask Shaun if I could bring over the arcade PC for some upgrades tonight (assuming I feel a little better later). You might have a few hours to catch up on me.

I wasn't planning on playing during the day, though. And if I did, I'd probably take advantage of the off-peak playtime to do some mining.

Do you believe it? I'm actually enjoying crafting. God bless this game.

Haha, I'm getting into Engineering a little bit, you'll have your mechanical squirrel soon. However, it means we compete for veins...

Engineering is kickass! I wish I were an engineer so I could have some swank goggles. :(

As soon as I figure out how, I can make some for you, right?

I don't really understand how it works yet, though. I can only make these bullets, and dynamite. I'd be browsing guides online right now if my work filter would allow gaming sites.

Unfortunately, using goggles requires engineering skills. :(

Yay ass-kickingness!

I brought our night elves over from Kalimdor, too, so now there'll be four of us.

EVC, anyone?

Are your characters ready for that quest already?

I'm anxious to kill Van Cleef so I can say goodbye to Westfall forever. Those farmers are too damn needy.

Unfortunately not. We should all be around 20 (or higher) before we do EVC. We need to do all of the pre-requisite quests, too.

I think the only prereq quest I need to finish is the traitor quest, but like Jarrett said, Moonbrook is constantly camped so that one is easy.

Will be ready to rock EVC in 5.5 levels.

Yeah, me and my fiance just brought our night elves over to Westfall last night, so we need to do all of the other Defias quests first. I figure by the time we deplete Westfall and start looking towards Redridge, we can do EVC.

Plus, this way J won't have to be the healer and the tank, so my NE is a druid. :)

What level are your NEs?

NE was my race of choice in WC3, and I played an NE Druid in the Stress Test Beta. I chose to go Gnome Mage this time because cause I liked the idea of having a really powerful itty bitty guy.

What are your NE names so I can friend you?

We're both 13, almost 14. I love night elves, they're my favoritist race. The flip-jump is the best thing ever. I also have a NE rogue that I haven't played yet. She might wait for later.

My druid's name is Larae, and Drew's hunter's name is Oakshis. He doesn't talk much though - he hates paying attention to the chat bar. So I sort of talk "for" him as needed. ("Hey babe, we're gonna go do this one Defias quest, follow me!")

You should encourage him to set up a "Hey, I'm gonna charm this here animal" macro.

He was only looking for temporary pets. His main pet (a kitty from the NE lands) is in the stable right now. :)
