Danger All About!
As I drove into work, I noticed there was a firetruck parked at the end of Twelfth Street, directly across from my building. Mental images of my burning office danced about in my head. As I turned onto N Street to find a parking space, I saw three police cars all parked directly in front of the main lobby entrance.

When I got into the lobby the first words I heard were "suspicious envelope". One of the guys who works downstairs in a shop near the mailroom was standing there dangling a small blue envelope between his thumb and forefinger. It had those little stripes around the edge like it was international mail.

This Anthrax thing is getting out of control.

I definately agree that it's gotten out of hand. I was watching the news last night and there were at least 5 scares here in Melbourne, Australia! I'm like WTF?

Soon as the media mentioned the word Anthrax suddenly there are hoaxes and false alarms left, right and center!!

I just can't understand why it's happening in my country as well. *shrug* Go figure.

Maybe I missed out on some news, but there was only one case of anthrax for now right? The other cases were all fake. It reminds me of several food related deseases here in Europe. Cocacola destroyed a months batch after a rumor about poisoning. It turned out only one person was right and all the other complaints were psychosomatic.

I think you did miss out on the news. Twelve people in four states have tested positive for exposure.

Oops yeah, I saw it on the news today. Bush thinks Iraq responsible for now... Hmmm. It's so hard to have a balanced opinion about all this.
