Installation was a breeze, with only one little hardware glitch. A phone call to Shaun fixed the problem in five minutes. God bless him.
Snake has never known any operating system but Windows Me. Me seemed okay at first, but you really have to get into to understand how much it really sucks. The resource management and memory leaks are a constant headache, making it about as stable as an epileptic unicyclist.
So, for the first time, Snake is operating at his full potential. It boots in seconds, and launches programs faster than ever.
I don't have all my software installed just yet, but I did have a small project to work on before bed last night. Even with resource hogs such as Photoshop, Outlook, Homesite and FTPVoyager running, the computer was quick and stable as all getout.
And it's so pretty. The screenshots don't do it justice.
