It's Sunday night already. But it's been a good weekend so far. Aside from being sick, anyhow.
We ended up seeing The Perfect Storm after all, and I think we made the right decision. The plot was gripping, despite its "man vs. big ass storm" simplicity. The special effects were very impressive. Chris MacDonald makes a convincing weatherman.
I don't have to go to work tomorrow, but I think I should to make up for one of my sick days. I'm pretty much back to normal now. Throat is normal, voice is normal, eyes are mostly normal. Improvements all around. I may live after all. I managed not to get conjunctivitis in my left eye, and I'm pretty thrilled about that. I'm wonder if it's still contagious. At least I don't look like a freak anymore.
I think it's time for my Sulfacetamide Sodium eyedrops. I was reading the small print that came with my perscription. They say "fatalities have occured" from using these eyedrops, but only in rare cases. What I found more discomforting is that conjunctivitus is listed as a rare side effect of the medication. The only side effect I suffered from is the terrible burning, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.
