(no subject)

I left the house later than usual this morning, but with plenty of time get in the office before nine.

But to my surprise, they decided to tear up 14th street and I couldn't get into our parking lot because it was blocked off. I was heading down an alley trying to call the office when LB called my cell asking, "Where are you?" "Looking for a place to park." "Just drive through the construction area and park in our lot." So I circled the block and played chicken with a dumptruck, drove over the sidewalk to get around the construction signs, and pulled into our private lot.

I clocked in at 9:04.

Our Office Manager sent out an email telling us not to park in the lot. Oh well.
