I had no idea when I left the house this morning that I'd end up getting to work a half hour early. Well, I shoud say a half hour earlier than usual. 9:30 is not really considered "early" by most standards. I guess I just wasn't paying attention to the time this morning. My sleep schedule has been all goofy lately, and I think the time change is still affecting me.

I paid bills this morning. I had no idea that there were $650 worth of bills waiting to be paid. Half of that was just for two months of electricity. You see, SMUD is the only company I deal with who does not have an online payment option. My own personal form of protest towards this great injustice is to just mail out a check when I get around to it, which is typically well past the actual due date. They sent me a letter that said, "Hey, buddy, why don't you start paying on time, please?" But they don't add late fees or anything, so why bother?

I had another $100 or so worth of current and not-so-current parking tickets to take care of. Man, parking really sucks around here. That's the worst thing about this stinkin' job. Actually, it's the only bad thing about this job I can name. I will still complain about it to no end. To rent a parking space in this neighborhood would be in the $100 per month range anyways.

Last night I hung out with Julie (qtkat) and Chris (gigglecam). We ate at Lyon's and then hung out in Chris' hotel room for awhile. We had lots of fun. In case you were concerned, Julie and I are getting along very well lately. It was a good time.

Today is payday!

I have the urge to post something provocative today, so I can get a lot of comments and Live Journal emails in my inbox.

But, dammit, I'm just not that controversial.

If you want to play along, just comment on this post as if I had said something shocking.
