Life's Simple Pleasures

Ah, I relish the joy of driving to work in my very own car. Plus it's really nice out this morning, so I was able to cruise around with the sunroof open, jamming to tunes on the ol' iPod.

I was slightly afraid I would find my car without wheels again this morning. I suppose I've accepted it's only a matter of time before they are stolen again. I'm going to see if I can find some sort of high tech wheel theft prevention system, but I'm not sure if such a thing exists. Can anyone offer any advice on that?

I was thinking about moving to someplace with a garage, but I really like my apartment, and it the relocation would probably not be cost-effective. Let's say I have to make an insurance claim every 12 months on average. That's $250 a year, which means I'd have to find a place where the rent was only $20 or $30 higher per month in order to break even. I'm paying $850 now, and it's hard to find a place in a nice neighborhood with gates and garages for under $1,000.

So, someday I'm going to find a wealthy girlfriend and we'll buy a nice house together, but in the meantime, I figure I'm better of staying where I am.
