Good Morning, Friends!

Well, it's Thursday already. This has been a fairly uneventful week, in a seemingly long line of fairly uneventful weeks.

Last night was great, though. Danielle (yellzer) came over and whipped up a home-cooked meal: Breaded pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and Caesar salad. We pigged out and watched I Love the 90's (1994 and 1995). All in all it was a very nice evening. Thanks again for feeding me, Danielle!

My hand has still been bothering me. Thanks for all the kind words and advice I've gotten. Right now I'm just going to wait to see if it gets worse or better. My fingers are strong again, but my whole hand aches from time to time. Maybe I just slept on it wrong or something. Although, I really ought to face the facts: I spend many, many hours a week at the computer keyboard. When I'm not working, I'm surfing the web. When I'm not surfing, I'm playing computer games. When I'm not playing PC games, I'm playing Xbox or Gameboy. And when I'm not doing that I'm playing piano. Heck, I even drive stick, so my poor hands rarely get a rest. My mom had CTS, but I think I'm a bit too young, and I don't have any numbness issues, which is the primary symptom.

Anyway, enough about my hands.

I'm very excited about my new computer! It is currently "InProduction," according to Dell. The estimated delivery date is sometime between Monday the 26th and Wednesday the 28th. That's a long time. I want it now. Just think about all those hours I'm spending watching television in which I'm not engaged in an activity which will ruin my manual dexterity. Yes, we need to speed that process up with a tiny, awkward laptop keyboard.

And thanks for all the name suggestions. Once I narrow it down, I'll hit you with the usual survey.

I'm thinking of getting some folks together to shoot some pool tomorrow night. Interested?
