Some Specs on the New House
The house we're renting is brand new. It's never been lived in. It's on a corner lot in a very quiet neighborhood, but that's likely to change as they continue to build roads and houses around us.

It's 1,900 sqare feet. It has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plus a two-car garage. The living room is humungous with a nice gas fireplace, a bunch of windows and really high ceilings. The living room has a little stairway that leads to a loft area, which by itself is a little bigger than my apartment's living room. The loft is our favorite feature of the house, and it's where the home theater will be set up. On the front side of the living room is a small den area that will be perfect for our home office, and hopefully it will have enough room for three computer workstations.

It has a nice-sized yard with a Spanish-style patio which is still in the process of being installed.

One of the neatest things about the house is that it's wired for ceiling speakers in every room, but none are installed. That's definitely something I want to do when I can afford the equipment.

Here are some pics from the rental listing. Obviously, you can look forward to many more photos in the future.

Very cool!!

Uhm, you're gonna have professionals moving that TV upstairs, right?

One plan is to actually sell my current TV, and buy a brand new one that will be installed professionally by the vendor.

Believe it or not, this was Danielle's idea. You can see why I'm in love with this woman.

TV idea

You should raffle off the TV amongst your friends. Set a minimum number of tickets to be sold before it gets raffled...and don't spend the money till you sell enough tickets in case you need to refund.

Someone can get a kick ass TV for $20-$50... whatever you set, and you get a new one.
