Robotic Poop Disposal
Does anyone use one of those Littermaid devices? Does it really work like they claim? Does it freak out the animals?

They seem to work really well. They usually have a timer, and scoop everything out 15 minutes after the last trip by kitty.

Some cats won't go near 'em, but those are pretty few and far between. Especially if you get a kitten.

Actually it's every 10 minutes. I love mine, it works great.

I agree, training them from kittenhood is the best, but even then there is a risk that your cat won't take to it.

I also recommend that if you are going to get one of these that you get the tent that goes with it.

What's the purpose of the tent?

Re:

Privacy for the cat and so you don't have to look at the litter. ;-)

Some people consider it a waste of money, but in my case, for me anyway, it's well worth it.
