Shame on me. I didn't write in the journal all weekend. Just goes to show how busy I was. I'm a mover and a shaker.

Sadly, I spent a lot of my weekend in front of the computer working. Never took a break for writing.

But I did a lot more than work this weekend. On Friday night, Little Brian and I decided to catch a movie. We were joined by six other friends. We ate at the Appleby's by the theatre. Many, many margaritas lost their lives. If you're ever at Appleby's, I recommend "the Perfect Margarita". My favorite. And they were particularly strong Friday night.

We missed the showtime for Loser by a longshot. So we waited around to see What Lies Beneath. That movie scared the bejesus out of me. I recommend it highly, esepcially if you like Hitchcockian suspense thrillers. LB's alternative title: Two Whacked-Out Bitches in Lake Vermont.

Saturday was the Big Staff Party at the ranch. Even more margaritas lost their lives. We enjoyed lots of good food, and some hot tub action. I crashed.

Last night Julie came over and we watched the Special Edition Mallrats DVD. Even a devoted Kevin Smith fan as myself was bored senseless by the 45 minutes of deleted scenes on the disc. The movie itself never fails to disappoint, though. That film is wholly unnapreciated. We should all try to be more like Jay and Silent Bob. Snoochie-boochies.

Now it's Monday again. Almost lunch time already! I've already designed a kick-ass logo today. I've been doing some really good work lately. Go me. Web design is fun.
